I like sketching female bodies but decided to stay away from. While it can seem intimidating, it's actually quite a forgiving, and fun, medium to work with. Portraits are closer to 30 minutes, but i'm getting faster!
I recommend you shape a base that helps you discern the volume of each element.

Sculpting modeling of a human body, proportion and form of the body. Sketch the wire frame of the human body with these basic shapes and lines.
